This past year, your generous donations to our Texas State Charity Program has been a true example of your belief in the First Principle of Our Order - CHARITY. Congratulations to those Councils, Districts, and Dioceses that have met their goals and to those councils that have made contributions to the Charity Program. As we begin this new fraternal year, our theme "Lift High The Cross", reminds us that we all must continue to stand strong for our Church, our Order and the First Principle of our order "CHARITY."
Our main objective once again is to raise the largest amount that we can for our Bishops in our Dioceses and also to raise funds for all the special programs that Texas State Charities support. I want to thank all the councils that are making their Charity goals and I challenge the other councils to do the same. For those councils that have not supported our charity program, please contribute and be a part of our State Charity Team. Your contributions not only aid the special needs of our Dioceses, but some of these funds are also used for Special Programs such as the Special Olympics, the Disaster Relief and the Educational Grants. Once again I ask you to join your brother Knights in supporting our Texas State Charities Program. Seventy percent (70%) of the money raised in your Diocese, after expenses, will go back to your Bishop for his chosen charitable designation(s). The remaining 30% will be used to fund the other State Charity Programs.
As we all know, the First Principle of the Order is CHARITY. If we all work together, I know that we will once again have an outstanding year in State Charities.
Help Achieve Your Council's State Charity Goal
Please mail all contributions to our State Office. Please indicate your council number on all checks so that the council will be credited properly and accurately. Make you checks payable to "State Council Charities" and mail to:
