Our theme for the year is "Follow Me" for Jesus Christ is leading us especially during these trying times. He will never abandon us.

The 120K Knights in Texas are committed to the principles of the Order, Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. We practice our commitment by living through our Faith in Action program consisting of Faith, Family, Community and Life.

We will always strive to be available where there is a need because where there is a need, there is a Knight.

Asking your prayers for our Brother Knight (Edcouch Council 11897) and friend who suffered a heart attach this past Saturday and has under gone open heart surgery. He is doing fine at this time and recovering now. He is under the doctors care at McAllen Heart Hospital. Thank you for your prayers and wishing him a speedy recovery. Doug Simmons

Please pray for PGK Doug Simmons. He has contracted an infection after spinal surgery earlier this month. He remains hospitalized. Thank you!

Tillie Gallia

Tillie is mother of Brother Stephen Gallia who fell and is almost totally blind. Pray for peace and comfort in their family.

Angel San Juan

Angel, a member of Nederland Council #5145, continues to recover from a mild stroke suffered a couple of weeks ago. Prayers for a quick recovery would be appreciated.

Serenity Solis

Calling for prayers for Serenity Solis, daughter of SK Daniel Solis, Assembly 2987. Serenity is 21 years old and has been sick the last 3 years and has progressively gotten worse. Last night she suffered a major complication. She has made a turn for the worse, but there is hope. Serenity will be transferred to San Antonio to await a heart transplant. Gene Hall

Brother Knight Gene Hall has served as a Committeeman for the State Bowling Tournament for many years and now he needs our prayers. Brother Gene had surgery on August 26th to help reduce his tremors, he then had a mini stroke on Thursday, August 28. Gene has some left side weakness, he went back to the hospital September 2nd to have to second portion of the surgery, it was canceled, and he was readmitted for more scans. Finally on Thursday it was discovered that there was swelling at the right probe site of the surgery. Gene has been moved to in-house therapy at UT HEALTHCARE/Olympic Plaza in Tyler. The therapy will last up to a week or more.

Kenneth L. Otte, PSD

We humbly ask for your prayers for beloved Past State Deputy (2002-2004) Kenneth L. Otte who is now receiving hospice care. Ken dedicated so much to the Texas State Council and we are incredibly grateful for his leadership and service. Please pray for comfort, peace and strength for Ken, his wife Linda and their family during this difficult time. May they feel surrounded by love and grace.

Butch Holzer - DGK

Please keep our DGK Butch Holzer (Denton Council 16393) in your prayers. Per his wife he is being admitted to the hospital as a possible heart attack risk due to elevated blood pressure readings and his heart history. Thanks for your prayers.

Scott "Slim" Strnadel

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Scott Strnadel who passed away on August 9, 2025 from a long bout with pancreatic cancer. Prayer Warriors - Please pray for Shi Rin a dear friend of the family. 33 yrs old, she suffered a stroke and brain aneurysm and has a very long road of recovery ahead of her. She is a psychologist who works with children and is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio. When it hit she was distributing school supplies to children at a hospital. Please pray for the healing of our family dynamics. We have been under attack ever since I became a Catholic. Most attacks come through my nephew Matthew who is a very angry young man. Pray that Jesus will heal the hate in his heart, help me to forgive Matthew, and to heal the other family relationships this has torn apart! It has been over a year and a half now that I have been constantly attacked by Matthew. I have health issues and the others in the home are disabled and elderly. All I want is His peace and His protection for me and my family.

Thank you all for the prayers for my husband, Jeff Jordan. He is still in ICU but getting better each day. They had to put another drain in because his liver had gassy fluid. But everything went well. He is eating a little now and all tubes are out. Even the feeding tube. One day at a time and prayers are helping. God is good! Kari Jordan

In your Christian charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of my wife Cindy’s mother, Mrs. Paulu Hawkins. She passed away very unexpectedly just before midnight Monday, August 4, 2025. She was 83 years old, just short of her 84th birthday next Saturday. Mom was a San Antonio native, but since losing her husband, she had been living with us for the last two years. Her funeral Mass will be on 8/16/2025 at 11:00 a.m. St. Edith Stein Catholic Church in Katy, Texas and graveside committal will be at Sunet Memorial Park in San Antonio at 3:00 p.m. on Monday 8/18/2025. Jeff Jordan

Update from Kari Jordan on her husband, Jeff: Jeff is still in ICU. He had to have an emergency surgery on Friday morning due to an infection coming on. They had to take out part of his liver. He has been in ICU with breathing tubes to keep him from working so hard to breath so his body can heal. They are keeping him sedated to keep him comfortable. His blood pressure had been going really low, but they have that very stable now with medications. It’s been a rough week since his surgery last Tuesday then emergency surgery on Friday, but all the prayers are greatly appreciated and are working. They got the biopsy back from the initial surgery and they did get all of the cancer out. The linings of the pancreas showed clear. God is good! (and so is Dr. McKenzie) Please keep the prayers coming. Kari

Past State Warden Boyd & Patricia Burris are requesting prayers for the repose of the soul of their daughter Amanda Burris who passed away Tuesday July 22. Amanda was the proud mother of Noah, age11, loving sister of siblings, Blayde, Brandye, and Jacque.Her parents, Boyd and Patricia, hope that all parents tell their children how much they are loved every day.

Please pray for my Brother in Law Donald Lambert. He is fighting terminal Brain cancer. The chemotherapy has failed and is needed of a Miracle. Doctors are trying all they can do to prevent the inevitable. Please pray with all your heart to God to grant him a miracle in saving his life. His wife and five children need him dearly. Amen

Pplease pray for the repose of the souls of Eric & Mary Guvernator. They were tragically taken from us in a car wreck last week. Eric was a 30 year member of the Council 1422. They leave behind 3 grown children - David Katie, & Grace and 3 grandchildren. Our Council has suffered the loss a good Knight.

Former District Deputy Fred Constantine

Please pray for the Repose of the soul for Former District Deputy Fred Constantine. Fred lost his battle with Brain Cancer on June 12, 2025. Services are at St. Anthony Church, 508 N. Sixth St., Longview, TX on Friday, June 20 there will be a rosary at 4:30 pm followed by Mass at 5 pm. Honor guard has been requested to Assemble at 3:45 pm.
