Council 10463 Received 3rd Double Star Award in 5 Years

Our Lady of the Lake Council 10463, in Lago Vista, TX, received a 3rd Double Star Award and 3rd Lone Star Award for term 2013-2104 from District 123 Deputy SK Kevin Brinkman on January 14, 2015.  Council 10463 Council received Double Star and Lone Star awards for 2009-2010, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.  Council 10463 is very proud of all these accomplishments.  This is all the wall space available.  Council 10463 has 80 members. My Brother Knights, can you believe it? One-fourth of the year is already gone. Hopefully, you all are on the path to meeting all of your goals. Hopefully, one of those goals is achieving Star Council. Remember, it is our duty to offer every eligible Catholic gentleman an opportunity to join the Knights of Columbus. This Order has a lot to offer all of these men. They will become better husbands, better fathers, better Catholics and you can add to that an opportunity to take care of their family’s future. In the past decade Texas membership has grown to 101,526 Knights and their families. The Order overall continues to grow and build upon its rich tradition of charitable work and spiritual formation. Various new charitable initiatives, as well as ongoing partnerships with organizations such as Special Olympics, have given Knights countless opportunities to practice what John Paul II called “a charity which evangelizes.” Read More
