Texas State Programs Committee will recognize 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Awards for three of the Church Activities programs submitted for consideration by March 15, 2007.

1.   Corporate Communion: Primary focus for 2006-2007

Brings Knights of Columbus families together to attend mass and receive holy communion.

RECOGNITION:  Councils that conduct four or more Corporate Communions during the fraternal year (July 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007) will receive a Special Certificate.

Additional Programs Recommended:

2.  Project Moses:

  • Focus is on creating awareness and keeping the Ten Commandments.
  • Erect a monument to display the Ten Commandments publicly.
  • Prayer For World Peace:  Pray three Our Fathers at the end of the business meeting for World Peace.
  • Pray three Hail Mary's at any event and/or following the three Our Father's to end abortion.
  • Adoration, Community, Theology and Service (ACTS):  Conduct a three day retreat with members and family to focus on prayer, testimonialsand unity
  • Set up separate retreats for men and women.
