About Us

Welcome to the Texas State Council

The Texas State Council of the Knights of Columbus membership family welcomes you to this website.

We have a sizable family in the state of Texas, over 108,000 Knights who are poised to exercise their Faith in Action. We are reminded in the book of Matthew that we are the light of the world, and we stand ready to “Let our Light Shine” throughout Texas and the Order. As we continue to grow and build upon the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, we offer all Catholic families in the state a faith-building and clear path to help make the world a better place for all.

Texas Knights and their families are committed to structuring programs and initiatives in areas of faith, community, family, and life. Texas Knights stand ready to answer the calls to lead with faith, protect our families, and defend our Catholic values. Texas Knights well understand that through properly planned and carefully communicated programs and actions we build faith, community, a culture of life, and strong families. Our Texas family is on the forefront of building the Domestic Church in each parish with 800 councils hard at work supporting their clergy, their seminarians, and religious. With unity of purpose and just causes, from disaster relief to Special Olympics, we Knights are out to make a difference with charity that evangelizes.

We welcome all practicing Catholic men in Texas and their respective families to join us, whether it be online (a fairly new initiative) or through the local Council invitation. Texas Knights have a great story to tell, a stellar history, and a legacy of success in building families of faith like never before. We are indeed a light to the world and the best answer to many of the troubles in society today. Consider joining us in the quest for just causes in service to one and service to all.
