Results of the 40th Annual Slowpitch Softball Tournament

On Behalf of the K of C Texas State Council and the K of C Texas State Softball Committee, we congratulate all of the winners from the 2012 K of C State Slowpitch Softball Tournament. It was a really good tournament with lots of fellowship and great sportsmanship.  I was also very pleased to see teams gather at the pitcher’s mound at the end of games for a quick prayer, very nice.  It was also very nice to have over 200 people show up and participate in the field mass on Saturday evening.

I also want to take just a minute to say “Thank You” to everyone who participated in the 50/50 Drawing we held at this year’s tournament.  As many of you know one of our fellow ball player’s and Brother Knight, wife and family from Schulenburg Council #2902, tragically lost their 5-month old son (MAX) just a few days prior to our tournament.  With tickets bought for the 50/50 drawing and some outside donations we were able to raise just over $750.00.  Which will be given to the family to help with expenses?  Charity in action!

Attached you will find a full set of the completed brackets from this year’s tournament; don’t forget all of the bracket pages print on legal size paper.
