NOW IS THE TIME…..WE NEED YOU!!!!!!!!!

Are you a better Catholic because you became a Knight?  Are you a better husband because you became a Knight?  Are you a better Dad because you became a Knight? 

Is your Parish a better community because of the Knights?  If you answered yes to any or all of the above questions, then why are we so reluctant to share this gift with other Catholic men?  When you think of membership you should think in terms of the first principle of our order, Charity.  Yes it is true Charity to share our gifts.  We were given the gift of being invited to join a Council.  But what if there was no council to join?  Someone had to do the hard work of actually starting our Council, now we and our Parish is reaping those benefits.  So we must work to insure that every Catholic Community is able to share in the vision of Father Michael J. McGivney.  This year we formed 299 Round Tables and brought our gift to that many Catholic Communities.  As a DD you must insure that your GK’s fill out the end of year report 2630 and send it to Supreme.

Congratulations to Galveston/Houston, Tyler, Brownsville and Laredo Dioceses, have each started a new Council.  We have many more that are very close to forming.  Many others are very possible for this year.  We all need to put the full court press on to insure that we are able to allow others to share in the gift we have been given.  Please work extra hard to insure that each potential member actually gets to his first degree.  The old story applies here:  “But for want of a nail a shoe was lost; for want of a shoe a horse was lost; for want of a horse a rider was lost; for want of a rider a battle was lost.”  Let us not lose a new council because you did not invite just one more Catholic gentleman to become a Knight.  We need every one to be fully engaged.  Please help NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
