Knights of Columbus College Council #14789, serving the University of North Texas, recently undertook a project to help feed the homeless in the Denton area.

Beautiful Corpus Christi was the 3 day home for the Texas State Council Knights of Columbus annual convention. The purpose of the meeting was for the approval of the upcoming fraternal year budget, approval of resolutions, election of state officers and election of delegates for the 128th Supreme Convention to be held in Washington, D.C., Aug. 3-5.

Rev. John Whitley ‘44 - Meritorious Service

John Raymond Whitley was born to W. Raymond Whitley and Margaret Loughney Whitley in Rochester, NY on June 28, 1927. Father Jack had three sisters: Jeanne Dailey of Stamford, CT, Mary Anne Conners of East Rochester and Sister Nancy Whitley, a Sister of Mercy in Rochester. Mary Anne Conners went to the Lord in June 2005.

St. Angela Merici Council 14617 donates $18,000 to parish building fund from First Annual Charity Golf Tournament

During their General Membership meeting held in March, the Knights of Columbus Council 10090 (from St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas) surprised their Pastor, Father Jan Klak, as they presented him with a new pair of Dan Post boots and a white Knights of Columbus chasuble, as a token of their deep appreciation for Father Jan during Pope Benedict XVI’s “Year for Priests.”
