40 Cans for Lent
Knights of Columbus Council #10258, Bandera, held a very successful non-perishable food drive during the 2017 Lenten season by collecting over 1,529 pounds of food.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS MOURNS THE PASSING OF SUPREME CHAPLAIN EMERITUS
The Most Rev. Thomas V. Daily, Bishop Emeritus of Brooklyn, New York, who was Supreme Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus for 18 years and a foremost advocate for the pro-life cause, passed away May 14. He was 89 years old.

A week prior to the feast of the Annunciation, Supreme Knight Carl Anderson attended the blessing of a mobile ultrasound unit donated to A Woman’s Haven, a pro-life pregnancy center in San Antonio.

COUNCIL STEPS UP IN BIG WAY
St. Philips Knights of Columbus Council 9884 stepped up with a $250,000.00 donation to the St. Philips parish building project.  The parish is in the midst of a major new building development at a beautiful new, 40 acre location in Flower Mound, Texas.

AT THE FOOD BANK
Volunteering at the East Texas Food Bank on April 5th, 15 Ladies and Knights from Council #15174, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Holly Lake Ranch, bagged 1,968 pounds of pinto beans, filling 82 boxes with 24 one-pound bags per box.
