“Cardinal DiNardo poses with the team from Saint Basil Coffee, at the 2011 Shepherd’s Cup Golf Tournament in Kingwood, Texas.
The Galveston Houston Knights of Columbus Chapter sponsors the Shepherd’s Cup Golf Tournament to raise money for Catholic Education, Faith Formation and St. Mary’s Seminary. Saint Basil Coffee and KC Council 803 sponsored the Saint Basil Coffee Team in their quest for social justice, and to support education in the Houston community. Saint Basil Coffee is a volunteer ministry that raises money for missions in Latin America. We buy fair trade coffee, roast it weekly here in Houston, and sell it to raise money for missions in Latin America. A great product for an even greater cause. A cup of coffee can make a difference! All profits go to our Catholic Missions to promote social justice. To date, we have raised and donated over $320,000 to our Catholic Missions.
