Council 3098 Award Scholarships!

CONGRATULATIONS to the six recipients of the $1000.00 Scholarship Awards of the Knights of Columbus Council 3098 of Weslaco.
Winners for the 2012 awards are from l-r Johnathan Rodriguez - WEHS, Olivia Carranza - WEHS, Nicolas Zavala - WHS, and Gabriel Garza - PSJA Memorial. In the next picture are the two recipients that graduated from Mercedes High School, Marcos and Nicolas Cardenas of Mercedes who also recieved the $1000.00 Scholarship Awards. The election of this six Scholarship recipients was very hard to decide for there were over 100 applicants who also were very well qualified. Again CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL FOR A JOB WELL DONE.
