image The KC’s of Council 9759, Epiphany of the Lord Parish, in Katy, Texas, held our first-ever Parish Family Meal on Friday, Sep. 21, 2012.  We served ~275 spaghetti and meatball dinners to hungry parishioners and their families.  The meal was held in response to encouragement from Monsignor, and Brother KC Jack Dinkins, that the KC’s offer more services to bring together the parishioners. The charitable beneficiary was Christ Clinic in old Katy, a Christian-based provider of medical services to underprivileged/low-income families. The complete operation at Christ Clinic is financed through donations and volunteer medical providers, and the KC’s were proud to present a check for $1,100.00 to the clinic director, Migdalia Trevino, on Oct. 4. Based on the success on both the levels of service to parishioners and the charitable beneficiary, we plan to hold 1-2 more family meals in this fraternal year.
