District Free Throw Champions

Nine boys and girls from El Campo, Louise, and Nada-Garwood, ages 10-14, were named District 148 Champions of the 2012 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship and have earned the right to compete at the Diocesan level, to be held at the Sacred Heart School Gym in Halletsville on Sunday, Feb. 19.
The winners, including, Kristian Cedillo & Duran Vasquez in the 10 yr. old division, along with Macee Krpec and Jonathon Manzano in the 11 yr old division, and Amanda Lutringer & Phil Salazar in the 12 yr old division. We also had Paige Halamicek and Jase Bill in the 13 yr old division along with Keiona Robinson in the girls 14 yr old group. Each contestant was allowed 25 free throw attempts in each contest. Ties were settled by successive rounds of five free throws per contestant until a winner emerged.
