Knights hold Charity fund raiser for co-worker in need.

Grand Knight Phil Nieto from St. Patrick’s Council 8404, Bishop Greco Assembly 1141 held a fund raiser for co-worker Patty Buentello.

image Patty has medical bills and doesn’t have insurance, SK Phil Nieto called on Brother Knights to step up and do what we do best…fund raisers for charity. ~$5,000.OO was raised. Turn out was way beyond expectations. Lines were long as was so was patience when we ran out of meat. Local restaurants (Arandas, Guadalajara and Doneraki’s) pitched in with donations of rice and beans, big thanks to Stokes Hardware for providing the parking lot and the supplies. Apologies to Kuko’s restaurant for taking 100% of their business while we were serving. Big Texas Thank You for all those who pitched in and helped, donated and for those who showed and and supported the Knights in helping Patty.
