Largest Family in Texas

Hoelscher-Buxkemper Family migrated from Germany in 1846. A reunion was celebrated on June 23 and June 24 at the Knights of Columbus hall in Columbus, Texas.
A polka mass of celebration started it all on Sunday morning. Polka music was provided by Donnie Vavra orchestra. Monsignor Elmer Buckholt of Eagle Wings in Burnet was celebrant. Family Knights of Columbus 4th Degree members participating were Donald Warschak of Columbus, Richard Hoelscher and Al Henneke of LaGrange and Darwin Brokmeyer of Horseshoe Bay.
