Major Degree at St. Jerome Parish (Waco)

St. Jerome Parish hosted a Major Degree on 2/4/12.
St. Jerome KofC Council 13005 hosted a 2nd & 3rd Degree exemplification on Saturday, February 4th in Brooks Hall. The exemplification was opened with Mass celebrated with Father Raj, Pastor of St. Jerome, a 4th Degree Knight. The Honor Guard from Assembly 1109 led the knights into the Church.
Phil Apgar the Dallas Team Captain and Joe Verastegui the designated CO made the presentations to forty-two 1st Degree Knights including Father Cyril, Pastor of St. John the Baptist and a 1st Degree Knight. There were thirty-seven 3rd & 4th Degree Knights who witnessed the exemplification. Brother SK Doug Oldmixon, State Advocate was present along with two representatives from Supreme, Ricky Adams and Clinton Hajovsky.
Not only did the 1st Degree Knights learn from the lessons taught in the 2nd & 3rd Degree but many of our 3rd & 4th Degree Knights also profited from this renewal of the lessons of Unity and Fraternalism. Forty-two Knights completed the Major Degree representing six councils and two Districts.
