+REV. SIR KNIGHT FATHER VIDAL ROBLES, St. Thomas Aquinas Council 11926, El Paso

            Please pray for the happy repose of the soul of +REV. SIR KNIGHT FATHER VIDAL ROBLES, parish priest at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Council 11926, El Paso.  It is with equal sadness and joy to announce the passing of Father Vidal Robles.  He went to our Lord this morning, July 8, 2012 at 1 am. In a very short period, Father Vidal touched many hearts in St. Thomas Aquinas Parish and everywhere he served God. He was very proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus order and was a fourth degree Knights of Columbus. As many of you may know, in Father Vidal’s last days, he met with several Knights from St. Thomas Aquinas parish to advise them about his wishes upon his passing. 
          O heavenly Father, Father of the great high priest, Your Son, Jesus Christ, we pray for the happy repose of +REV. SIR KNIGHT FATHER VIDAL ROBLES, and for all deceased priests.. This man gave his life to bring the love of Your Son to the world.  Look kindly on FR. VIDAL and give him a share of Your glory in heaven. We ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus, our Lord. Amen.
          Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.  O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
