Brother Knights and Fellow Golfers,
The 44th Annual Johnny Lopez Knights of Columbus State of Texas Open Golf Championship will be held the weekend of August 24, 25 and 26, 2018, at Squaw Valley Golf Courses, in Glen Rose, TX.

The optional Friday Scramble Tournament has a 1:00pm shotgun start. It is a great time to meet brother knights from across the state. Teams are established by handicap and you will be playing with Knights from councils’ other than your own. The Saturday and Sunday stroke play tournament will be held over 36 holes with an 8:00 AM, shotgun start. Golfers are asked to be at their assigned golf cart a half hour before start. Check in at the club from 9:30am Friday morning.

Attached you will find a copy of the tournament entry form. Please complete all the info requested, including council number; division; and membership number. All communication will be by E-MAIL.

If you have not played in the K of C State Golf Tournament to establish a handicap you will need to submit a copy of your club handicap card or two score cards. Submit your handicap and the above with your entry.

We will have rooms blocked at the following hotels which are just off the main highway close by the Golf Course. When making your reservations inform them you are with the Knights of Columbus to receive a discounted rate.
