First of all, Terry and I, along with our family, would like to thank all of you for all your Prayers, Masses, Novenas, Rosaries, thoughts, and concerns. Terry has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma. He will start Immunotherapy treatments (IV infusion) on Wednesday, August 10 at the Vasicek Cancer Treatment Center at Baylor Scott & White in Temple. These treatments will be done as an outpatient and are scheduled to be done every 4 weeks for the next 2 years. The Oncology doctors, along with Terry and I, are staying positive and optimistic these treatments will work.
Please continue to keep Terry in your prayers as he faces this tough battle that lies ahead. We truly believe in the Power of Prayer, and we know that God is listening.
May God Bless You and Your Families.
Requested by: Estelle Simonton, Terry's wife
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty" and "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you, our Brother, Terry Simonton. Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.
