+ DEACON GREG HALL - Houston

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Deacon Greg Hall who died peacefully at home April 10, from pancreatic cancer. We pray as well for God's consolation and peace for his wife, Angie, his children, Gregory (Candice), Jacqueline (Rob), and Andrew (Robin) and their families, and all of his extended family and friends in the Church and business world.

Deacon Greg was a larger than life figure at CtR, first as a long-time parishioner, and then following his ordination in 2011, as a deacon. His faith and his love of the Church propelled him to do great things for the glory of God. He was a masterful preacher, teacher, and counselor, and a friend to all. His ministry and legacy will live forever in the hearts of the people of CtR and far beyond. We are grateful to God for having shared him with us.

Funeral details will be announced shortly. Until then, his family asks only for our prayers and privacy. May his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed rest in peace

Requested by:  Reggie Vasquez, State Star Council Director

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.
